Hoof Beats Youth Riding Club provides an incomparable riding experience and education. Children build confidence and self-reliance through horsemanship in a safe, healthy, and exciting environment. Our diverse program educates students in horse health, care, safety, psychology, and provides solid foundation in natural horsemanship. We strive for excellence inside and outside the show arena. Past students of Mary's have moved on to attend Equine Colleges, are working professionals, and compete at the Grand Prix Jumping level. Hoof Beats runs Wednesday through Saturday for youths of all ages, riding disciplines, and abilities. Students may use their own horse in the program, or Freedom Farm’s horses.

Mini Beats riding classes. For the under-7 crowd, we have special riding classes on the first Sunday of each month, 12-2 p.m., generally from December to May. Kids get to help groom their very gentle older horse, and learn the basics of riding with lots of help. It's a great introduction to what we teach in the Hoof Beats curriculum. Call or email Mary Gallagher to sign up your child!
